Emily Benjamini has been an attorney for 23 years, and has been working in the field of criminal defense for the last 19 years. Prior to that, she worked in the field of civil law for several years. She was employed by the Riverside County Public Defenders Office as a criminal defense attorney for more than 8 years. After leaving the Public Defender’s office, she continued to represent adult and juvenile indigent defendants by court appointment for two years. She is experienced in all areas of criminal law including serious felonies and misdemeanors. She has extensive experience in the field of juvenile defense.
She is familiar with the local courts and is known and respected for her detailed analysis and aggressive representation on complex matters, including search and seizure issues, constitutional issues, and evidentiary issues. She has already successfully guided many clients through the criminal court system.

Emily Benjamini graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, with High Distinction and Highest Honors in Communication and was made a member of Phi Beta Kappa in 1989. She received her degree of Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego in 1992.
